Children's Ministries
Our Children’s Ministry is uniquely designed for children newborn through 5th grade. We believe children are a blessing from God and we are passionate about creating an environment that is safe, age-appropriate and fun where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way allowing children to grow in their relationship with Christ.

Nursery
The Bandera MC Nursery is a friendly place to be! Children ages 6 months to Kindergarten enjoy toys, books, and games while in our care. We are available during the first and second services on Sundays. During the Small Groups hour, we invite babies up to preschool age (have not started Kindergarten) to listen to a Bible story, do a craft, and eat a snack with us. The nursery staff also offers care during various church activities throughout the year.
Sunday School
Both of these classes use the Cokesbury curriculum. The children listen to a Bible story, talk about how the Bible message applies to their lives, and also participate in fun crafts and activities that make the Bible story real.
Kids for Christ or KFC
KFC started with some parents of kids having a once a month gathering to play games and have snacks. God put it on the heart of Shawn Morrison to keep this going, but on a weekly basis and invite others outside of our church to join.
We meet every Wednesday during the school year from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall at BMC.
We follow the Bandera ISD schedule for holidays, breaks, and weather cancellations. A bus brings the local kids and drops them off. We play games, have snack, a "sermon time", and a time of prayer. This is about gathering elementary children together, in a safe and Christian environment, and having fun in the name of Christ. Kids for Christ is led each week by several adults.
Kid's Kingdom
Kids' Kingdom is a two day a week preschool program for 3 & 4 year olds - Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30am-2:30 pm.
Here is a sample of the daily schedule:

9:00 - 9:30 Chapel with Music and Prayer
9:30 - 9:45 Group Circle Time
9:45 - 10:00 Snack
10:00 - 11:15 Classroom centers: Math, L/As, Free-Writing
11:15 - 12:00 Playground
12:00 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 12:45 Story Time
12:45 - 2:00 Rest Time
2:00 - 2:30 Free Play and Closing Circle
