Our Story

Bandera MC is an historic fellowship of Christian believers with our beginnings going back as early as the 1840’s and the first circuit riders serving the western frontier spreading “scriptural holiness across this land”. Today, BMC is a thriving congregation of friends and families from all walks of life on a similar journey seeking to be faithful to the task before us as we nurture, sustain and empower disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

What We Believe

As Methodists, we worship the Triune God and we bear a faithful witness to the living reality of Jesus Christ.  John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement believed that the living reality of Christ was revealed in Scripture, illumined by tradition, made alive in personal experience, and confirmed by reason.

Our Methodist heritage is rooted in a deep understanding of God’s grace. This incredible grace flows from God’s great love for us and must be shared with the world.  What we believe must be confirmed by what we do. Personal salvation must be expressed in ministry and mission in the world.

Connect With Bandera MC

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to come and see and experience the love and grace of God at one of our Sunday worship services - 8:30am and 11:00am. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. Our prayer is that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
