Welcome to Bandera Methodist Church

The vision of Bandera MC is grounded in Christ’s Great Commission as found in Matthew 28: 18-20; “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit and teaching them all that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you until the end of the age.” 


We seek to live in faithful witness to Christ’s command as well as  “making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”  We will do this by engaging in acts of radical hospitality, passionate worship, intentional faith development, risk taking service and extravagant generosity.  Please read below to find out a few of the ways we put this into action.

We were created as people with a purpose, and that purpose is exemplified in God's Holy Word. When we study God's Word with other believers, amazing things happen. Lives are changed, hardened hearts become open, families are restored, neighborhoods are renewed, and whole cities can be changed.

Rather than simply tell people about the life-changing love of Jesus, we want to show them by the way we serve them. Our Church . . .

Our church is a more than just a place to go or an event to attend; we are a community of people who have been changed by the love of God and want to change our community in response. It's our desire to make known the good news of God's love within our own congregation as well as outside the walls in our community. Following the model of Jesus, it's the heart of our church to love those around us by meeting their needs, sharing our lives, and offering them the life-changing grace of the Christian faith. We believe that it's the gospel of Christ that truly changes people, and those people are the ones who change the world. We would love to welcome you into our community and walk alongside you to serve those around us in the name of Jesus.
